About the Stemar Shoes Brand

From Italy, the Moreschi family has been producing some of the world's finest footwear and accessories. The Stemar brand, produced at the same Vigevano factory as their signature Moreschi brand, is no exception. The collection represents the creative exploits of Moreschi brothers Stefano and Mario, and is consistent with the impeccable quality, timeless looks, and trendy stylings of the Moreschi collections.

The seasonal collections include beautiful classic loafers and lace ups that clearly mix fine Italian stylings with British shoe inspiration. The marriage of both results in an impeccable shoe that is comfortable, of exquisite quality, and modern. The standard Stemar collection, sold throughout the year, showcases a variety of overtly Italian luxury mens dress shoes and super soft driving shoes. There is a shoe for every function in the collection, it is as diverse as it is beautiful.

Stemar compares quite favorably to other brands in the marketplace such as Santoni and Bruno Magli, but stands alone with the unique Moreschi quality, stylings, and construction.

How to Care for Your Stemar Shoes

Caring for Calfskin Shoes

To care for calfskin shoes, first use conditioner/cleaner to remove surface residue from your shoes and to keep leather soft and pliable. To achieve a fine luster, wipe shoes with a damp cloth and allow them to dry at room temperature. Then, apply a coat of shoe cream or polish with a cotton flannel polishing cloth or horsehair dauber and allow to air dry. Remove excess polish by brushing your shoes with a horsehair brush and buff to a desired shine.

Caring for Suede and Nubuck Leather Shoes

Suede and nappa leather shoes are easily cleaned with a nylon brush and a suede / nubuck bar for scuffs. To ensure maximum protection from water, apply a protective suede spray, using only silicon sprays, as they only will preserve the nap of the leather and cause leather discoloration.

Caring for Nappa Calfskin Leather Shoes

Nappa calfskin is a very supple leather that requires extra special care. First, apply a shoe cleaner or conditioner to remove all foreign residue and return the shoe's natural durability and softness. Apply shoe cream or polish. To maintain the shoe's maximum luster make sure the cream/polish is a close match in color to the shoe leather color. Allow shoe to air dry. Remove the excess polish and wax by brushing your shoes with a horse hair brush and then buff to finish.

Caring for Patent Leather Shoes

When you first get your new burnished calfskin shoes you may notice a slight haze over the leather of the shoe. Wipe the shoes down with a soft cloth or brush with a horse hair brush. Clean these shoes regularly with a damp cloth and air dry. Using a soft cloth, apply a medium coating of shoe polish in a similar / matching color to your shoe leather and allow that to air dry. Brush down shoes with horse hair brush to remove excess polish and buff shoes using a soft flannel cloth.

Caring for Patent Leather Shoes

Patent leather shoes require treatment of mild soap and water first, to remove any foreign residue. Then buff to a shine using a soft flannel cloth. Lastly apply edge dressing.
