What is embossing?
Embossing is the process whereby an image stamp is applied to the footbed of the shoe, leaving a permanent indentation of the image.
Custom Embossing Ordering Instructions:
Step 1.
Select desired shoe Color and Size
Step 2.
Select the type of embossing you would like to be applied to the footbeds of your custom shoes. There are many options for embossing including custom Monogram, Signature or other Custom Text, Logo or Custom Image.
Step 3.
Enter your desired text (not applicable for custom image embossing) - if you have chosen Monogram, Signature, or Custom Text emboss options, enter the text you would like embossed on the shoe footbed. Enter it as you would like it to appear. For special instructions on how you would like your text to appear, ie. you would like the text on a curved line, that can be noted in the Special Instructions section of the order form.
Step 4.
Select Font - select your desired font from the drop down list provided. Below are examples of each of the fonts. You can also provide your own custom font through the Font Upload portion of the order form. Virtually any font you provide can be used for your custom embossing, although some may not translate well to the stamp used for the footbed embossing. These may include font types with letters that are extremely thin. If you have a question about your custom font, please contact us. As a standard procedure, we provide a proof of the final text/image for your approval prior to finalizing the stamp and performing the embossing.

Step 5.
Image/Font Upload - upload your custom image/logo or custom font file for embossing here. Image specifications are as follows:
a. Image artwork provided must be ALL black and/or white. No gray, and no other colors should be included in your image, this may require that you edit your image before sending. The black portions of your image will be where the stamp is actually applied to the footbed, while the white areas of your image are left untouched.
b. Image resolution should be 600dpi or greater for images with file type of .tif/.jpg/.bmp/.pct
c. Image resolution should be 300dpi or greater for images provided from Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or Adobe Acrobat
d. We can work with faxed/scanned images done at 600dpi. We can provide fax number upon request if necessary.
e. We will send you a proof of the artwork after it has been run through our system which will show you approximately what the image should look like once embossed, as far as image clarity, sharpness of lines, etc. This is the point at which any mispellings are errors must be identified, once you agree to the proof and the embossing process begins there is no turning back.

Step 6.
Terms & Conditions - you must agree to the Custom Order Terms & Conditions in order for your order to be processed. Click the 'Custom Order Terms and Conditions' link to bring up a pop up window detailing our custom order terms and conditions, including our no refunds/exchanges policy on custom orders.
Step 7.
Submit Your Order - after you check over your order carefully and submit your order the customization process will begin. Your credit card will be charged in full for the order when this process starts. You will receive a proof of the text/image to approve prior to the final embossing being done. From the time when you approve the artwork, it will take approximately 5-7 days to complete and ship your order. Please keep this in mind for gift orders, as you may want to select expedited shipping at Checkout.
Refund/Exchange Policy on Custom Orders
Custom orders cannot be returned/exchanged or refunded due to the fact that they are built on a single unit basis specially for the customer ordering the product. Custom orders are charged in full at the time of the order, as the customization process begins immediately after the order is placed.
