The Locman Tremila Collection Following on from the success of the TREMILA – Aeronautica Miltare models, three chronographs issued in a limited edition of 3000 with the troops’ coat-of-arms stamped on the dial, Locman Italy now introduces the latest versions of these special timepieces to the international public at Baselworld 2007. They are now offered without the military symbol in a prestigious self-winding medium-size version, including a chronograph with a medium or oversized case, and a small-size watch version. The new TREMILA models interpret the spirit of infinite freedom procured by flight, as indeed by the most extreme sports: an unforgettable high-adrenalin experience made possible by the exceptional performances of ultra-sophisticated aircraft, created with materials able to withstand extreme conditions. In the same way, the TREMILA model was designed and produced using cutting-edge technology combining high-quality mechanisms with materials such as titanium, carbon, steel and rubber – known for their extreme lightness and shock-resistance as well as for their pleasing texture. Man meets technology in this model featuring a sporting and original design. Designed as a single armband, the TREMILA self-winding watch features a rectangular stainless steel case. Two integrated steel inserts with the laser-printed Loman Italy logo frame the case at 12 and 6 o’clock. The latter is incorporated within a single-piece perforated strap in state-of-the-art anti-allergenic rubber, secured to the steel structure with two screwed lugs. The case is also distinguished by a screw-locked pushbutton at 3 o’clock, as well as a shiny steel nameplate fixed to the side with two screws bearing the laser-engraved satin-brushed TREMILA logo. The titanium back is held to the steel case with four screws. The extremely rugged overall effect of this model is complemented by the scratch-resistant glass. The distinctive dial is framed by “vertical deflectors” on which the seconds stamped in Arabic numerals and the word “Automatic” are rendered extremely visible by the magnifying effect of the watch glass. The dial also features applied hour-markers and the LOCMAN name instead of the 1 in the figure 12. Meanwhile, the date is its conventional position at 3 o’clock. The oversized hands ensure optimal time read-off, even in extreme situations. TREMILA, an energetic watch in terms of its lines and colours, is available in five variations combining the strength of an avant-garde material such as carbon with warm, sunny shades of yellow, orange and red for people who like to live life to the max and on the edge; as well as in colours such as black or blue for those with a preference for rigorous technical standards, including in the world of sport.
