The Locman Tuttotondo CollectionThe latest Locman release is called Tuttotondo, a name that underscores the simple softness of this watch’s distinctive lines. The choice of a pure, pared-down style is the signature feature of the recent collections from the watch brand based on the Island of Elba and which remains in the vanguard of design creativity. It embodies an authentic expression of Italian style while conveying a rigorous sense of essentials.
Through the perfectly rounded shape of the polished steel case topped by a satin-brushed bezel and enhanced by a large facetted crown, Tuttotondo evokes 1940s pocket-watches which remain enduring symbols of elegance and charm.
The broad dial in enamelled white, black or metallic variations for the men’s models, and in white mother-of-pearl or enamelled black for the ladies’ watches, is rimmed by a refined circle of large colourful Arabic numerals.
The printed leather strap is directly inserted into the case without any lugs. An extremely rich palette of colours is available for the ladies’ versions, ranging from pastel shades to vibrant sunny hues and enabling countless combinations with the colours of the Arabic numerals on the dial: from a lilac strap matched by pink or violet numerals, to white and red straps combined with numerals ranging from red to sky blue.
Men are offered a decidedly more understated spectrum, with straps in natural, black, white or yellow shades of leather, and numerals in either tone-on-tone or contrasting colours.
Secured to the case by four screws, the case-back is engraved with a globe motif depicting the earth’s parallels and meridians. Tuttotondo is equipped with a standard quartz movement and is water-resistant to 5 atmospheres.
